I'm a postdoctoral fellow and my projects involve investigating the regenerative potential of the X.laevis retina. I'm looking into the ability of the retina to regenerate photoreceptor cells after targeted cellular damage, specifically, rod photoreceptor degeneration in our transgenic models of retinitis pigmentosa.
